John Hall came to the rescue and provided a Blues Creek Guitars Mold for the OLF SJ Team Build #2. Many thanks John for the use of the mold.

Several people have jumped in and offered to buy the mold. As per John's request he said just auction it on the OLF and put the money toward expenses on the build or as we see fit.

We'll work out the details on where to send the cash. In your bid, please remember to compute shipping from Wisconsin and be prepared to send shipping cash to Paul Woolson. TIA

Auction runs until 8PM Tuesday Evening, March 7th 2005, any bids after 8PM sharp don't count. First highest bid wins. Guitar in mold doesn't come with it, nor do the clamps or anything in the picture, except the fine OLF SJ Exterior Mold by John.

John has an Ebay presence with 51 Auctions running currently here:

http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZtippie53

You can reach Blues Creek by clicking here: Molds are in the Online Store link:

http://bluescreekguitars.com/

Here is a picture of a Gibson Mold on Ebay. I see it is slightly different from the SJ mold above, but representative of John's cool stuff on Ebay.

Thanks again John. This mold is a little part of OLF History.... now up for auction. Thanks for looking.

I actually wanted to clarify one small point. The "spreader" is mine and goes with my OM form. So it's not included. If the high bidder is nice and someone I like, I might throw in some sawdust at no extra charge...just because I'm a nice guy!

Yes, indeed, Hesh, I've just found out I can get one of these from John, delivered, for $90. Nevertheless, to help raise money for the OLF, I will bid on this one:

$100

Todd wins it. Thanks. We'll see if Brock Poling will accept this cash for shipping costs of the OLF Guitar Project #2.

Thanks again to John Hall of Blues Creek Guitars for furnishing a critical need to the builders. Paul Woolson can you pack it up and Todd Rose, we'll need your address. You can PM that to Paul or post it here. A Big Ol' OLF thank you!

Yahoo!

Sorry, Bruce, I don't know what "OLF Time" means. Moot point now, though.

I'l PM Paul with my address.

OLF time is the time that posts to each bid. So you were actually an hour ahead of OLF Time. We do live in different time zones don't we all.

Anyway, you weren't outbid so you won. I think OLF time is actually Central Standard Time, though, based on your query post above. I checked in about 10PM and saw you had unquestionably won the auction, either way. Thank you. Brock gets the cash for shipping costs and beyond for the OLF Build #2.

I think the time that shows up in the posts on one's computer depends on the time zone one is in. E.g. where I posted "Well, it's now 8:15 pm EST...", the time I see on my computer at the top of that post is 8:15pm.

So, I do think it would help folks to be told what time zone is being referenced when an auction deadline is announced.

Anyway, I'm glad I won, and glad to help out the OLF.Todd Rose38784.8850810185

Didn't know that. Your post showed up here as 7:15 when you posted well it's 8:15. So you are correct. Lance and Michael probably knew that. Congrats. Brock gets the cash. And thanks Todd...
